Welcome to Studio Apart! We are thrilled to have you join our workshops and explore the art of pottery. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience:

1. Firing of Workshop Pieces
   
   • We do not fire workshop pieces unless specifically requested and paid for at the time of the workshop. Firing fees will be communicated separately and must be paid in advance.
2. Collection of Workshop Pieces
   
   • We do not offer individual shipping for workshop pieces. All pieces must be collected from the workshop venue as specified during the workshop or via our communication channels.
   • For workshops conducted in collaboration with other brands or spaces, participants must collect their pieces from the specified venue within the stipulated time frame.
3. Non-Refundable Fees
   
   • All workshop fees are non-refundable once registration is confirmed. This applies to cancellations, no-shows, and changes in participant availability.
4. Workshop Rescheduling or Cancellations
   
   • In the event that a workshop is rescheduled or canceled by us, participants will be informed promptly, and alternate options or credits may be offered.
5. Participant Conduct
   
   • Participants are expected to follow all safety and operational instructions provided during the workshop. Any damages caused due to negligence will be charged to the participant.
6. Use of Workshop Tools and Materials
   
   • All tools and materials provided during the workshop are the property of Studio Apart and are to be used exclusively during the session.

Custom Pottery Orders

We love creating unique, custom pottery pieces for our customers. Please take note of the following terms for custom orders:

1. Order Confirmation
   
   • Custom orders are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or a deposit as agreed upon. Once confirmed, no changes can be made to the design, dimensions, or other specifications.
2. Lead Time
   
   • Each custom piece is made-to-order and requires a specific lead time for crafting, drying, firing, and finishing. Estimated timelines will be communicated at the time of order placement, and delays due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., kiln issues) will be conveyed promptly.
3. No Refunds or Exchanges
   
   • Custom pottery orders are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. As each piece is made specifically for you, we cannot accommodate changes or cancellations once production begins.
4. Shipping and Handling
   
   • We offer shipping services for custom orders at an additional charge. While we take utmost care in packaging, we are not responsible for damages caused during transit. Customers are encouraged to inspect their pieces upon receipt and report any issues within 24 hours.
5. Design and Artistic Integrity
   
   • By placing an order, you agree to allow creative freedom for slight variations in color, texture, and shape, as each piece is handcrafted and inherently unique.
6. Care Instructions
   
   • Detailed care instructions will be provided with your order. Studio Apart is not liable for damages caused by improper handling or use.
7. Liability
   
   • Studio Apart is not responsible for any damages or injuries caused by the use of our pottery pieces, whether due to improper use, accidents, or other unforeseen events.

General Terms

1. Intellectual Property
   
   • All designs, concepts, and materials created by Studio Apart are the intellectual property of the business and cannot be reproduced or used without prior written consent.
2. Privacy Policy
   
   • We respect your privacy and handle all personal information in compliance with applicable data protection laws. Information collected during workshops or custom orders will only be used for the purposes of fulfilling services.
3. Amendments
   
   • Studio Apart reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Updates will be communicated through our official website.
4. Governing Law
   
   • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of [Your Location]. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of [Your Location’s] courts.

Terms and Conditions for Pottery Events

Thank you for considering Studio Apart to bring the joy of pottery to your special events! Whether it’s a birthday party, bachelorette celebration, corporate event, or any other occasion, we aim to create a memorable and engaging experience. Please review the terms and conditions below for event-based workshops.

Event-Based Pottery Workshops

1. Booking and Payment
   
   • A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total cost is required to secure your event date. The remaining balance must be paid 2 days before the event.
   • For bookings made within 3 days of the event date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
2. Customizations and Special Requests
   
   • Any special requests (e.g., customized themes, specific pottery projects) must be communicated at least 3 days in advance. Additional charges may apply for such customizations.
   • Changes to the event plan will be accommodated at our discretion and may incur extra fees.
3. Event Duration and Setup
   
   • The standard duration for pottery workshops at the event depends on the nature of activity requested, including a 30 minute setup and cleanup time. Extensions beyond the agreed-upon time will incur additional charges.
   • We require access to the venue 1 hour prior to the event for setup and preparation.
4. Firing of Pieces
   
   • Pieces created during the event will not be fired unless specifically requested and paid for. Firing fees will be quoted separately and must be settled before the pieces are processed.
   • Fired pieces will be available for collection at our studio or can be delivered at an additional shipping cost.
5. Venue and Logistics
   
   • The client is responsible for providing a suitable space for the workshop, including necessary amenities such as tables, chairs, and access to water.
   • Outdoor events must include provisions for weather-related contingencies (e.g., shade or cover). Studio Apart will not be held liable for delays or cancellations caused by unsuitable venues or weather.
6. Travel and Transportation
   
   • Travel within a 15 km radius of our studio is included in the workshop cost. Additional mileage or transportation costs will be billed separately.
   • Parking fees, tolls, or venue-specific charges must be covered by the client.
7. Participant Safety
   
   • Participants must adhere to all safety guidelines and instructions provided by our team. Studio Apart is not liable for injuries or damages caused by participant negligence.
8. Workshop Tools and Materials
   
   • All tools, materials, and equipment used during the workshop are the property of Studio Apart and will be taken back after the session. Damages to our equipment caused by negligence will be billed to the client.
9. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
   
   • Cancellations made at least 2 days before the event will forfeit the deposit but not incur additional fees.
   • Cancellations made within 1 day of the event date will require full payment of the event cost.
   • Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be requested at least 2 days in advance.
10. Participant Limit
    
    • The maximum number of participants per event will be agreed upon at the time of booking. Additional participants beyond the agreed-upon number may not be accommodated without prior approval and payment of additional fees.
11. Liability Waiver
    
    • Studio Apart is not liable for any damage, loss, or injury occurring during the event due to the use of our materials or participant actions.

General Terms

1. Privacy Policy
   
   • Any personal information collected for the event will be handled in compliance with applicable privacy laws and will only be used to fulfill the services provided.
2. Amendments
   
   • Studio Apart reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions. Changes will be communicated promptly.
